Beautiful vintage Nippon hand painted tea set.  The main color is white, gold throughout and black edging.  Teapot teacup and saucer creamer lidded sugar bowl 17 pieces including lids, tea service for 6.  The teapot is approx 3-1/4" in height without the lid, with lid is approx 4".  From the handle to the spout is approx 8-3/4" across, the top is 4" across and opening is approx 3-1/4", depth is approx 2-1/2", approx 2 cups.  There are no chips or cracks, some wear on bottom.  The sugar bowl is approx 2-3/4" in height without lid and 3-3/4" with lid, from handle to handle is approx 5" across, top is 3" across and opening is approx 2-3/4", depth is approx 2".  No chips or cracks.  The creamer is approx 2-1/2" in height, from handle to spout is approx 4-1/2" across, opening is approx 2-3/4" and depth is approx 2-1/4".  No chips or cracks.  The teacup and saucer; the saucer is approx 3/4" in height and 5-1/2" across, the teacup is approx 2" in height and 4" across to handle and 3-1/4" opening.  Depth is approx 1-3/4".  There are no chips or cracks.  All pieces do show signs of age/use/wear.  A few imperfections in the porcelain, just the way the pieces were made/age.  A few brown age spots.  There is some color/enamel fade/loss in areas.  Some wear on bottom of porcelain.  All pieces are marked Nippon hand painted with a green wreath except for the saucers.  An elegant Nippon vintage set.  Sold as is.
